Little Yellow Bicycle Poppy Cycle Team

Hello, Little Yellow Bicycle fans! It's Jessi from Kissin' Krafts. I would like to start by thanking Little Yellow Bicycle for this amazing opportunity! The new 'Poppy' collection has been so much fun to play with! The colors are pure PERFECTION!

Today I am sharing an altered photo display with you:

I found the unfinished photo display at Michael's. When I saw the colors in the new 'Poppy' collection, I knew I wanted to start with a white frame.

The possibilities are endless with the amount of embellishments available in the 'Poppy' collection. I think my favorite is the fancy medallions. They add that special touch to any project! And who doesn't love banners??? You can make a detailed banner or a simple banner with the pieces included in the embellishments. I felt that a simple banner was the best since there is allot going on in the photo display.

Once again, thank you Little Yellow Bicycle for this amazing opportunity! The 'Poppy' collection is yet another wonderful collection!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I know that I did, but know I am ready to get back into a normal routine! (It has been a very busy few weeks here! And today is the FIRST day that I can get back to 'normal')!

Being that it is Monday, it means that it is Design Team Day on the Prickley Pear blog! My card today focuses on a beautiful stamped image with a simple sentiment:

I am in love with Spectrum Noir markers, but definitely need to improve my coloring skills! Prickley Pear images from Spring Flourished Ovals are perfect to practice on! Maybe one day, I will learn the practice of shading...

Thank you for stopping by today! Please come back soon! I have some fun things planned for the next few days!!!

Happy Father's Day from gel-a-tins!

Happy Father's Day weekend, gel-a-tins family! What do you have planned for that special man in your life?

Today, I am sharing a CAS Father's Day card using gel-a-tins HELLO stamp set:

The first step was to stamp and cut out the Hello Tag. In the blank spot, I created "DAD" using stickers. A bright and fun patterned paper makes up the backing. To highlight the name tag, I cut out a strip of matching yellow paper and attached to the card. The tag is adhered to the card using foam dots to add dimension to the card. At this point, I was planning to be done. However, the card seemed to plain. To fix the issue, I punched out some solid color circles and added along the side of the card.

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you are able to spend some quality 'Dad" time with that special man in your life!

Happy Father's Day fwith Prickley Pear

Good evening, friends! I know that it has been a few days since I last posted! It has been quite the week! Everything has been focusing on  but I am glad to finally get back to crafting!

Today, I am playing catch-up with Prickley Pear. This card was posted last week and I am excited to show this card with you since Father's Day this weekend!

Using Prickley Pear's Tools ATC :

I took the background stamp and repeated the image twice to create the background. The background is covered with distressed ink to age the paper.

I know that this is a short post. I will be back next week with lots of fun projects!

gel-a-tins and Xyron Cross Promotion

Good morning, gel-a-tins friends! It's Jessi  from Kissin' Krafts! Today I am excited to be participating in the gel-a-tins and Xyron cross promotion. (Psst. check out their blogs for details of the amazing prizes they have up for grabs!)

I had so much fun creating this card using gel-a-tins Butterflies are Free stamp set.  The butterflies were just screaming to bring out the neon!

The first step was to stamp the butterflies and color them in. I normally use markers to color in, but decided to break out the colored pencils for this project. Once the coloring was complete, it was time to cut it out and attach them to the card matte. The simple sentiment is stamped on the bottom right corner. The final touch was to add the sequins,

I don't know about you, but I always seem to struggle attaching sequins to my projects. But Xyron to the rescue! I had never thought about running the itty bitty sequins through the Xyron's Create a Sticker machine to add adhesive to the back of the sequins. It made it so simple! Will be using that more often!

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you are enjoying this week's projects showcasing the gel-a-tins and Xyron cross promotion!

Good morning, Trendy Twiners!  Have you enjoyed the summer weather yet, and brought out the (dreaded) swimsuit? I have yet to dust off mine, putting it off as long as possible! Although, my mind might change with this fun summer card!

Here is the card I made using Trendy Twine's Spotlight Twine - Stars and Stripes:

Stars and Stripes in one of my favorite Trendy Twine colors available! The color combo is PERFECT! So many wonderful possibilities available! Today I took the simple approach and created a twine clothesline. The beach background is created by blending inks. To add a special beachy touch, I took some beach stamps and repeated the images throughout the sand.
